Join us for beautiful blooms and delightful music as we celebrate a special day for Mom during peak bloom season at Meerkerk Gardens on central Whidbey Island. Bring Mom and a picnic and also enjoy a delicious treat from Whidbey Pies (sold by slice). Buy Mom a rhody at our nursery and get a special discount.
Tap your feet to the music of some great local performers on the gazebo stage: Accordion player Lori Hansen, noon-1 p.m.; Doug Roraback and the Double Diamonds, 1:30-2:30 p.m., and Island Jazz Collective from 3-4 p.m.
Admission to the Gardens (and concert) on Mother's Day is $10 for adults (kids under 16 free). Pay in person May 14 or in advance online at www.meerkerkgardens.org/events (show your receipt to greeters at the gatehouse).
