Description
Sundays, March 8 and 22, 3 PM to 5 PM at the Freeland Library
These jam sessions are for anyone looking for a supportive, educational and fun music experience.
All acoustic (unplugged) instruments are welcome - guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dulcimer, harmonica, ukulele, bass, voice, etc.
This traditional ‘jam circle’ is an opportunity for musicians of all ages and levels of ability, from beginner to veteran, to share, learn and play old time traditional tunes.
The first hour will be a "slow jam," hosted by David Auer, and the second hour (and beyond) will be a "regular jam."
We also invite you to join our FaceBook jam page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WhidbeyJam/
Please email Susan (jam host) at shanzelka@sno-isle.org to be put on the email list, receive song lists (and access to "the binder" of music), music notation, scheduling changes/cancellations, reminders, and other jam information.
Drop-ins welcome!
